after the parade.. people head to pubs to get their bottles of beer.. mood is festive like new years day celebration in manila.. many pubs in downtown are packed.. people spill into the streets.. selected streets in downtown closed to traffic.. state police issued a warining against drunk driving during st. patrick's day celebration (http://www.isp.state.il.us/media/pressdetails.cfm?ID=427) .. people walking in the streets drink beer from the bottle, from plastic cups, through the straw.. imagine yourself drinking beer through the straw
